How it started
We are Patrick & Scott, two neigbours who meet weekly to talk French. Patrick helps Scott pronounce french words correctly, no English is spoken. This has really helped Scott improve his French, particularly his pronunciation. Patrick remembers a time when he was in a similar situation, learning German. They both enjoy the weekly meetings and have become good friends. It got them wondering if there were other people out there who would benefit. But how would they find each other? Our sessions started during a conversation over the garden hedge. Scott decided to create a website to help people find each other. We hope that it enables more people to speak better French and make friends in the process.
Pricing
Language exchange here is free. It works on a favour-for-a-favour basis: you help each other with your languages, and we encourage a culture of mutual appreciation. Your language partner gives you their time and help, so why not give something back?
